Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins is an Mexican American journalist. She's an ESPN anchor for news and also hosts SportsNation at times. She joined ESPN in 2016. was a part of ESPN. She is the daughter of the reporter for television Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta has been bilingual since age nine. Her ability was crucial in helping her get her first position as an assistant to the production team at Univision Miami, where she assisted the production of shows like Nuestra Belleza Latina and Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. Following this, her CBS subsidiary of St. Petersburg employed her as a sport reporter. In 2009, she relocated in Rio Grande Valley to work as a journalist at KNVO TV 48 Univision & Fox2 News. Reporting on stories on drug trafficking and immigration across the border of Mexico and Texas. Border, she worked as reporter for news on the Spanish channel KNVO TV48 at 5 pm, a news reporter in English for 9 pm, then a news anchor for 10 pm, and then returned to the Spanish channel. Also, she was a substitute for weather anchors, sports anchors and forecasters. Then she became anchor and reporter on Univision Dallas' Deportes 23. She was then given larger responsibilities. She wrote for sports like the NBA, Dallas Cowboys' postseason, NBA ALDS ALCS World Series or Finals FC Dallas. She produced Univision 23 Accion Deportiva Extra as anchor. She has been promoted to anchor the sports segment for Despierta America Deportes' morning show. It was the same role as a sports anchor for Primer Impacto magazine and Contacto Deportivo on the UniMas Network. Antonietta's parents hail from Veracruz Mexico. In Mexico City she was conceived on November 22nd 1985. Also, she has an older sibling. Her family relocated to Miami in 1992, after having left Mexico. In the course of a few months, her father divorced from her mother and she was subsequently remarried by 1995 naval architect whose name was Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away of kidney carcinoma in 2006. On a family vacation in Ohio, the younger Collins took a place with her older sister. Antonietta was about to graduate from high school, but was already aware of what she was going to accomplish. The result was that she liked the campus as well as the fact that it had the program she desired. After high school, she graduated and was enrolled in media studies at the University. The professor she had was Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM and was part of her class, developed an ongoing friendship with the student. He inspired her to be self-confident and his passion in journalism was a huge influence on her, and she determined to fulfill his expectations and never let him down.
